Beacon’s person-centered process supports a higher sense of self-worth and esteem, and has been successful in placing hundreds of job seekers into meaningful jobs where they are actively and confidently contributing to their community each year.
Our employment specialists work one-on-one with individuals to identify career interests, transferable skills and employment abilities. They help job seekers set goals and provide tailored job search support including services below.

To qualify for BeaconWorks! Individuals must be a member or receiving services with at least one of the following referring sources:
- RSA Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)
- Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)
- Behavioral Health Services
- Arizona Long Term Care Services
- Social Security Administration – Ticket to Work
Beacon Group provides job coaching services to individuals whom we have helped find public/private industry jobs. Job coaching is available to assist individuals with disabilities to learn and accurately carry out the job duties. A job coach may first perform a job analysis to identify job duties and then develop a specific plan to best train the employee to work self-sufficiently. Job coaches work with the employers – at no cost to the employer.
Beacon Encore is a service providing customized employment (CE) opportunities and is currently available to transition-aged youth (16-24) with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Pima County who are not receiving state or federal services or benefits. Beacon Encore utilizes three steps: Discovery, Informational Interviewing, and Support to Maintain Employment when customizing employment for individuals. When an individual is hired by an employer through Beacon Encore, the individual’s skills and preferences match the specific business needs of the employer.
