The Maintenance Trades Helper performs general labor duties, operates equipment and assists other workers to complete facility and equipment projects.Full-time and part-time positions available. This position is located at Hill AFB.
This position is part of the Ability One program which requires candidates to meet the Ability One definition of disabled. Since this is a federal contract you will be paid an hourly fringe benefit in addition to your hourly wage. This will be an additional $4.18 per hour (up to 40 hours a week.) The fringe goes toward your medical insurance and or retirement.

Keep workers supplied with materials and tools.
Use chemicals and solvents to clean working area(s), machines, and equipment.
Assist workers by holding materials or tools.
Use industrial cleaning equipment to clean work bays and aisle ways.
Operate machinery such as forklifts.
Perform unskilled trade work as directed.
Perform snow removal using tools and equipment such as shovels, snow blowers, and tractors. This also includes the application of sand and/or ice melt to roads, and walkways to prevent potential safety hazards.
Operate equipment such as scissor lifts for operations such as removing icicles from building eaves.
Act as an escort for third-party contractors performing work in specific areas in which a security clearance is needed to gain access.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to gain government security clearance.
Valid State Driver’s License (Must have held license for a minimum of one year)
1 year experience working in an industrial environment.
