Since 1952, Beacon Group has been committed to providing employment related opportunities to people with disabilities. We provide training, development and access to real work for a segment of our community. We seek a patient, reliable individual who will work various indoor and outdoor positions.
A.Supervise and monitor clients at all times. Clients shall be kept within job coach’s line of sight.
B.Assist with client intake/orientation process and make recommendations for acceptance into the program.
C.Teach and reinforce appropriate work attitudes, behaviors and daily living skills.
D.Foster a positive image of community placement.
E.Adhere to Beacon Group’s philosophy of using patience and sensitivity when dealing with clients, utilizing a positive approach in any situation.
F.Chart client objectives as specified in individual program plans.
G.Complete Monthly Progress Reports on each individual.
H.Report any concerns regarding a client to the appropriate Program Manager.
I.In conjunction with the Program Manager, maintain good communication with parents, group home staff, DDD/VR case managers, etc., regarding any situation that might affect any individual.
At least one year supervisory experience. At least one year working with adults with disabilities preferred. Candidate must have High School diploma or its equivalent, valid AZ driver’s license and proof of a good driving record. Must pass drug/background and fingerprint clearance.
Must be able to work outdoors.
