Group Supported Employment

Group Supported Employment is for individuals who are capable of working in various situations but still require a degree of support and supervision. Our clients are accompanied by a Job Coach, who assist with resolving identified employment issues and with transition to successful, independent employment.

Job Coaches will:

  • Offer advice and suggestions for how to handle situations at work
  • Help train new employees to learn the various expectations of the job
  • Provide resources to deal with other issues that interfere with the ability to do a job properly
  • Offer career goal development

Group Supported Employment positions are:

  • Time-limited, minimum wage opportunities, and may include responsibilities such as stocking and supplying at local businesses

Competitive Employment

Supported Employment emphasizes obtaining competitive work in the community while providing supports needed to maintain success in the workplace. The program focuses on clients’ personal preferences, rapid job search, time-unlimited supports and personalized benefits planning. The program follows evidence-based practices of SAMHSA Supported Employment.

Work Adjustment

Work Adjustment support and training prepares our clients for the responsibilities of an independent work environment.
